My Home Featured In Cottage Style Magazine and a GIVEAWAY!

If you've followed me for awhile then you know that I am no stranger when it comes to photo shoots and press, but it is always super exciting to have a team come into my home for a shoot!

I was contacted close to a year ago by the folks at Better Homes and Gardens, Meredith Publications about doing a shoot at my home for their publication Cottage Style Magazine. Did I say yes? You betcha....and it was a GREAT experience that I totally enjoyed!

I haven't see the magazine myself yet but I adore this publication and it only comes out TWICE A YEAR!

I've been so fortunate to have had my home in 3 major publications this year now including this one. It was a great learning experience working with these team of professionals including fellow Miami stylist (now NY based) Jorge Arango and Savannah based photographer Richard Leo Johnson and his super cute assistant:-).  If you have a minute, check out the link above to Richard's photography site for some eye candy home shoots!

Here is what I can show you.....if you want to see more you can pick up the magazine at any major grocery chain, Lowes, Walmart, Barnes & Noble...etc, etc. Scroll to the bottom...I'm giving away a copy too!
Some behind the scenes footage.....
That's all I can show you....but I wanted to mention before I go that I'm busy working on a shoot myself right now and on deadlines...SUPER exciting, more about that at a later date......

I'll announce a winner (or maybe 2, depending upon how many copies the publisher sends me) next week sometime. Please let me know where you post and please no spam or anonymous posts...they'll be deleted. US only, or International if you pay the postage on this one.....

WINNER OF THE VINTAGE BY NINA BOOK Giveaway will be announced this FRIDAY and you can still enter HERE

Girl Has Style...

Sometimes it comes to pass in these times that a family member, in this case a young adult daughter, comes back to the family abode to live for a period of time in order to save money. It's the way that it is and I don't mind and we do have the room...and her attitude has made lemonade with lemons. She's surely decorated her space in own distinctive taste.
You won't find anything white in the room and our tastes are definitely not the same, but the girl's got style and I wanted to share some quick shots with you today......

Her esthetic is quite eclectic with a vintage modern vibe and like her mama (oh, that would be me) she does love to collect. A mix put together of mid century modern, bohemian and French...and everything was bought on a dime or found in some cases in my own collections, or a few things by the roadside......

Shots are perhaps not the camera does not have a built in flash and I didn't have time for a proper shoot...but I do hope that you enjoy this post...
If you enjoy the style that I love....there is still time to enter the GIVEAWAY for the book VINTAGE BY NINA on the previous post (not this one).....
