I just wanted to pop in quickly and ask you a question. Are you a fan?
What I was wondering....do you prefer to see photos that bloggers simply collect from other blogs that inspire them, or do you prefer seeing photos taken personally by the blogger? When I look around at blogs, I prefer the more personal touch....but maybe that's just me?
Are you looking for decorating inspiration or project tutorials? Do you like to read a little about the blogger's life? I know that I do...but sometimes it's just TMI then I care to read if you know what I mean. I'd love your input if you have a minute....

Your beach house is every bit as pretty as your home! I love all the soft touches and it looks so cozy! I know you must enjoy your time there relaxing and unwinding!
I use my own pictures on my blog. It's just something I have always done. I don't mind, however, to see images on blogs that came from somewhere else. Sometimes it just fits the post or the style of the blog.

I love to see personal touches. In my communications classes, when discussing social media, my professors always stress how important it is to "humanize" it. People relate to people! Also, I prefer to see pictures that the blogger took themselves along with tutorials, but I don't mind idea boards and inspiration coming from other blogs occasionally.
I prefer the author's personal photos on blog posts. I like to read blogs that are from the mind and heart of the blogger, and feel that Pinterest is the perfect place to collect and share photos from other places. That's just me though; there is room here for every preference.

I love personal photos, not ones used from the internet and I like to read about the bloggers life as well... the fun of blogging to me is making new friends, visiting old friends, and seeing what their world is like, wherever it may be... I just love your style and can't get enough every time I visit here.
This post resonated with me, because I feel the same way about blogging. I prefer seeing unique photos from the blogger's home. I don't mind seeing an inspiration photo to show where an idea for a featured project or transformation came from, though.
I find random photos too confusing & lacking credit to where the original photo came from (which I often recognize from my stash of mags, hee hee).
Also agree about the TMI, although I do enjoy learning more about the blogger's interesting life. Guess I'm just more private, that's why no Facebook for me. Hope you don't cut out too much blogging for us non-Facebookers.
Oh, and I loved seeing your great summer mantel over at Roberta's website. Terrific!
