We have been going out of town almost every weekend, but this past one we stuck around, as these cutie patooties were in town for a visit (our older daughter and her guy).
She is quite the photographer, and I wanted to share a few photos that she took of the King of our home, Murphy. He is an older guy at 7 years, and lovin' this cooler weather and playing in the yard.
As for my website, I have been listing some of the vintage pieces found on all of the recent trips we been taking....and I haven't had a chance to post about them as they mostly have been sold:-). I still have a stash to list, but have been itching to work on projects. It's a lifelong DISEASE and the only way I know of to scratch it is to work on the pieces that are the things of my dreams. My artsy friends know what I mean! More about my projects later.It's my birthday on Feb 25th, and I have a gift for you.
I am very appreciative of the many blessings in my life and am sure that Mr. Fufu will have me feeling like a Queen For The Day next Weds. Back to the Studio Inspiration.... I was so happy to find loads of wonderful old ephemera on our excursions and have been scanning up a storm. Mostly what I found were gorgeous images of antique ladies, antique French images, and the best old French paper dolls. Careful steaming to get some of these out of their scrapbooks has been finished, and now the originals will be better stored for future use. I made some more of the boxes that were featured a few months ago in Romantic Homes Magazine, and framed some in pretty vintage buying trip frames.
I haven't had a chance to work on my Bottle Dolls since way before Christmas...one of the projects that I so enjoy!
Also managed to finish up a Vintage Millinery Dress Form that will be posted today

It sounds like you've really been on the go finding beautiful vintage goods, everything sounds lovely. I know your birthday will be fantastic and can't wait to hear all about it.

OH, your bottle dolls are darling! Murphy is a cute "boy" playing in the yard. That crown is exquisite! I have crown that color that looks masculine! What a perfect pairing they would be (hee hee hee...okay, I'm terrible...but a girl can dream can't she???)
